The focal point is right above the center of the page, I used the pattern just below the corksrew and the lines around the hexagon lead up to it, plus, that's where the head of the "y" begins. The thing I like most about my design is the star and how the plaid works with it help, it your eye move around the page.
The focal point of this design is in the center with the two radial gradients, you can use the lines next to it to move up the page. The gradients help you to move down and left of the page. This is probably my best work with gradients, and probably my favorite design I've made so far.
The focal point here is to the upper left of the center, in that little white box surrounded by boxes filled with designs. The most successful thing about this design is probably how the shapes on the right kind of shimmer and let the viewer's eyes slide down the page.

The focal point is again, right above the center of the page, in the circle with all the wingdings, with the whitest background on the page. The most successful thing about this design, in my eyes, is how the corners and how all the edges lead right to the focal point, it gives you freedom on ways to lead your eyes to the focal point. Also, if you catch any of the music references, you're awesome.
The focal point of this piece is right in the center this time, it's the one yellow block that doesn't have a gradient, it looks like it's giving off light. I'd say the most successful thing about my design here is the gradients and how they all seem to revolve around the center of the page. My color scheme here is yellow and purple, it's not a contrast that's used a lot, unlike blue and orange. To make it interesting, I tried to place the shapes surrounding the center in such a way that you could vaguely make out some type of structure, maybe a robot, maybe a person, the interpretation is up to you.
